Principle

The university places a strong emphasis on providing international students with education and experiences that help them understand cultural differences. Therefore, Korean language education is at the core of the curriculum, and various cultural experience programs are offered to support students in understanding the cultural characteristics of Korea and the local community. In addition, the university provides a wide range of major courses to help students acquire specialized knowledge and develop the competencies needed for employment.

SGU Language Institute is open not only to students but to everyone—members of the general public are also welcome to enroll.

Singyeongju University operates a King Sejong Institute in Nepal and is an official provider of the Ministry of Justice’s Social Integration Program (KIIP) in Korea.

Targeting 5.0–7.0

Operating by dividing levels into Level 1 (IELTS 4 to 4.5) and Level 2 (IELTS 4.5 to 5) to match students’ levels, and the class capacity is limited to 30 students or less.
